How can a print shop in the little town of Lapel, Indiana go international? You would think the internet would be the obvious logical explanation since you can reach everywhere and everyone and in the world, however, that's not how it happened, at least not for us.
It actually began a short three years ago with a little yard sign out in front of the shop letting people know that we existed and were open for business. Because of that little yard sign customers began walking through the doors and those customers had worldwide connections.
You see, even in the Digital Age in which we live, relationships still matter. Human interaction is still important. Face to face encounters make a difference.
I love to travel and have traveled many places throughout the United States. I'd love to take a trip to Europe and travel outside the country sometime, but have not done so yet. But even though I haven't, I've created and printed shirts that have made their way to places I may never reach personally. Places like Barcelona and London, Paris, Madrid and even Stonehenge. I've even printed shirts that have been sold to professional hockey players in Canada!
Nothing beats the feeling of designing and printing a shirt and see it travel all over the world. It's amazing to me how a little print shop in Lapel, Indiana could have a such big impact. I never would have guessed working here that such a thing would happen, but it has. It just goes to show you that anything is possible. I may never travel to Europe, but it's nice to know that I've created something that has.
